Salud Cerveceria & Bottle Shop: This brother/sister operation is the epitome of cool. Downstairs, an expertly curated bottle shop/bodega beckons. Upstairs, the laid-back taproom serves incredible house-made beers alongside tasty nibbles. It’s a seamless, welcoming experience for both beer nerds and casual drinkers. The fact that it is in walking distance from my apartment probably didn't sway its spot on this list. 😉
Petty Thieves Brewing Co.: Funky and eclectic, this taproom feels like a secret clubhouse. With unique seating like church pews spread across various nooks, it’s a space designed for conversation and discovery, backed by a lineup of interesting and well-executed beers.
The Suffolk Punch: More than just a brewery, this is a sustainability-focused ecosystem. It’s a restaurant with a hyper-local, ever-changing menu, a coffee shop, and yes, a brewery crafting quality lagers. It’s the whole package for a long, leisurely visit.

Burial Beer Co.: As mentioned, the taste standard-bearer for many. Their IPAs are legendary, and their stouts are profound. The focus here is squarely on world-class execution.
